Pro surfer and world champion Edouard Delpero and shaper Alain Minvielle worked on these shapes. Alain Minvielle has extensive shaping experience in California and a keen sense of the flow and glide of the classic style.

Together with Edouard, they have developed classic shapes inspired by longboard models from the 1960s, while adding a more modern bottom line to create the perfect surf.

The first ED Pro was a high rockered, narrow, competition winning shape able to surf vertical and tight to the pocket. The Minvielle ED Pro Wide is an evolution of this shape - designed to suit the WSL judging criteria - a high performance longboard with extremely good noseriding capability, with some added width at the mid point and filled out nose. While adding a small amount of swing weight, it increases the planing area in the nose massively to enable long stable nose rides.
